In the first 6 months of 2024, the lottery ticket issuance revenue of Ho Chi Minh City Lottery reached 5,376 billion VND.
The financial report for the first 6 months of 2024 of Ho Chi Minh City Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. (Ho Chi Minh City Lottery) recorded net revenue from sales and service provision reaching VND 5,474 billion, an increase of VND 224 billion over the same period last year.
The main revenue of Ho Chi Minh City Lottery mainly comes from issuing traditional lottery tickets and scratch-off tickets, reaching 5,376 billion VND. The remaining revenue comes from office rental and printing services. Thus, the company earns nearly 30 billion VND per day from issuing lottery tickets.
After deducting operating expenses, in the first half of 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Lottery earned a profit after corporate income tax of more than VND 786 billion, an increase of VND 125 billion over the same period last year. This is considered the highest profit of this enterprise in the past decades.
As of the end of June 2024, the total assets of Ho Chi Minh City Lottery reached 3,092 billion VND, of which cash and bank deposits were 1,110 billion VND.
