Xiaomi is about to release the low-cost smartphone Redmi 12 in Vietnam

Redmi 12 is expected to be launched at a low price, in line with everyone's expectations for the Xiaomi brand. This phone uses a glass back with impressive hardware features that will surprise many people compared to the price.

The upcoming product is expected to feature a 6.79-inch Full HD LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device will be available in three color options : Black, White, and Light Blue . Users will get volume controls on the right side and an on/off button, which also has a fingerprint sensor integrated.

In terms of configuration, Redmi 12 is said to be equipped with an 8-core MediaTek Helio G88 chip, which means it is limited to 4G capabilities. It will come with 4GB or 8GB RAM options and 128GB or 256GB internal storage with the ability to expand up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. Similar to many other Redmi phones on the market, the device will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. Redmi 12 is also said to offer fast charging up to 18W.

In terms of design, the Redmi 12 has a fashionable design, featuring a triple rear camera system, including a 50 MP main sensor for wide angle, combined with ultra-wide and macro cameras. The camera layout is similar to the iPhone 13 and 14 with a vertical design and a third sensor forming a triangle. On the front, the device is equipped with a 50 MP camera for high-quality selfies and is located in the hole-punch section on the screen.

Besides, the device also features NFC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, IP53 rating, infrared scanner, dimensions of 168.6 x 76.28 x 8.17 mm and weighs 198.5 grams.

Recent rumors suggest that the Redmi 12 will be officially launched on June 16 at a low price. Based on the published specifications, the amount of money consumers spend on the device promises to be quite reasonable.
