Accordingly, Xiaomi has officially announced that it will stop providing software updates for the Xiaomi Pad 5 and Redmi Note 11 Pro.

Over the years, Xiaomi has introduced many phone and tablet models and sold them in large quantities. These devices all have a limited lifespan; after a certain period, Xiaomi will stop providing software updates for some devices. This decision is called the end of the product lifecycle or the end of the device's lifespan.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 appears on the list in several regional variants including: Taiwan, Türkiye, Russia, Europe, and a global variant; in addition, the Note 11 Pro, Redmi 10 2022, and Redmi Note 10 JE models are also listed as no longer supported. This means these phones will not receive any future security patches.
Additionally, the Indonesian version of the Poco X3 GT has had its software support discontinued, meaning it will not receive MIUI or HyperOS updates, Xiaomi's custom Android interface.
Lack of software support can put devices at security risk. Unpatched vulnerabilities can be exploited by malicious actors to gain unauthorized access to user data, steal passwords, or even install malware.
