Accordingly, in the province, there will be 42 routes belonging to 20 provincial roads included in the classification of provincial roads for calculating road transport fares. Of which, provincial road 101 includes national highway 6 - Van Ho - Quang Minh, national highway 6 - Chieng Yen - Phieng Luong, national highway 43 - Chieng Khoa, national highway 6 - Long Luong, Hoa Binh - Chieng Yen; provincial road 102 (Van Ho - Chieng Son, Muong Sang - Chieng Khua - Long Phieng); provincial road 103 (Chieng Sang - Yen Son, Yen Son - Na Cai); route 104 (Moc Chau - Tan Lap, Tan Lap - Tan Hop); provincial road 105 (Sop Cop - Muong Leo, Sop Cop - Moc D187); provincial road 105A (Sop Cop - Moc D1); Provincial Road 106 (Muong Gion - Nam Gion - Chieng Lao); Provincial Road 107 (Muong Gion - Than Uyen); Provincial Road 107B (National Highway 279 - Pa Ma Pha Khinh - Muong Chieng - Ca Nang); Provincial Road 108 (Thuan Chau - Muong Bam, Co Ma - Bo Sinh); Provincial Road 109 (Muong La - Ngoc Chien); Provincial Road 110 (Hat Lot - Muong Bu, Na Bo - Ta Hoc, Hat Lot - Chieng Sung, Chieng Sung - Na Chay, Chieng Sung - Thong Nhat); Provincial Road 111 (Bac Yen - Muong La); Provincial Road 112 (Bac Yen - Xim Vang, Xim Vang - Tram Tau); Provincial Road 113 (Na Ot - Song Ma - Co Ma); Provincial Road 114 (Tan Lang - Huy Ha, Muong Bang - Dong Nghe); Provincial Road 115 (Muong Hung - Chieng Khuong, Border Gate Branch); Provincial Road 116 (Muong Bu - Chieng Khoang, Muong Khieng - Liep Te, Bo Muoi - Tong Co, Chieng Ngam - Nong Lay); Provincial Road 117 (Ban Mong - Muong Chanh, Muong Chanh - Chieng Ban, Chieng Bom - Muong E); Provincial Road 117C (Nam Lau, Thuan Chau - Nam Ty, Song Ma). Finally, Provincial Road 118, has National Highway 6 - Mai Son Industrial Park.
Based on the current status of each route and section of provincial roads and comparing the road classification criteria stipulated in Decision No. 32/2005/QD-BGTVT dated June 17, 2005 of the Ministry of Transport on road classification to determine road transport fares, the Provincial People's Committee decides, determines and classifies roads to calculate road transport fares in Son La province, with 4.65 km of type 1; 0.93 km of type 3, 399.72 km of type 4, 536.67 km of type 5 and 214.33 km of type 6.
Road classification is the basis for evaluating the results of road management, exploitation, operation and maintenance. At the same time, it is the basis for investors, consulting units, and state management agencies to establish and appraise estimates for construction investment projects in the province. Therefore, it is necessary to announce the classification of provincial roads, ensuring compliance with current standards and actual operating conditions of each road.
