Truck collides with chemical trailer causing 5 vehicles to pile up under Phu My bridge slope

On the evening of April 10, a truck was going down Phu My bridge from District 7 to Thu Duc City when it collided with a tractor-trailer carrying chemicals traveling ahead.

5 vehicles collided in series under Phu My bridge slope.

The remaining vehicles suffered minor damage.

The incident happened suddenly, causing 3 other vehicles to crash into each other while going down the Phu My bridge, causing 5 vehicles to get stuck on the bridge slope. At the scene, a total of 3 trucks and 2 tractor-trailers were severely damaged in the front and rear. One truck had a deformed front end, fortunately the driver and the assistant were not seriously injured.

Cat Lai Traffic Police Team, Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police Department coordinated with local police to divert traffic across the bridge to another direction. Traffic rescue vehicles were dispatched to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles.
