A truck carrying goods and express mail was traveling on the highway through Quang Ngai province when it suddenly burst into flames.
On the afternoon of October 27, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Ngai province said that a fire had just occurred in a truck carrying express delivery goods.
At about 3:20 p.m. the same day, truck with license plate 50H - 430xx, carrying express mail, driven by driver N.D. (born in 1994, residing in Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province), was traveling on the North - South expressway.
When reaching Km113, the section passing through Quang Ngai province (about 19km from the Provincial Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department), it suddenly caught fire.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Ngai province urgently dispatched 2 fire trucks and 1 water tanker along with 19 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. By 4 p.m. the same day, the fire was under control.
The fire damaged many goods and express mail items.
The cause of the incident is being investigated.
