Container truck caught fire on Ring Road 3

At the above time, the container truck with license plate 14H-01410 pulling a trailer with license plate 15R-04590 was moving from Mai Dich to Khuat Duy Tien carrying a cargo container on the road. When reaching the foot of the T221 bridge on the elevated Ring Road 3, fire suddenly broke out from the front of the vehicle. Hearing people shouting, the driver managed to turn the wheel to the outermost lane, escaped with the people and used many mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but it was ineffective. The fire spread high and engulfed the entire cabin, accompanied by many small explosions.

Immediately after the incident, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Thanh Xuan area (Hanoi City Police) were present to extinguish the fire. Initial information shows that the incident did not cause any human casualties.

This is the second car fire that occurred that day. Accordingly, at around 10:20 a.m. the same day (April 20), at alley 42 Vu Ngoc Phan street, Lang Ha ward, Dong Da district (Hanoi), a 4-seat Mazda car (license plate unknown) was parked and suddenly caught fire.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Hanoi City Police) mobilized forces to the scene to control the fire. After a few minutes, the fire was extinguished, but the car was burned down. The fire did not cause any human casualties.
