Quang Tri Industrial Park started construction on December 15, 2023 with an area of 481.2 hectares, including 23 industrial parks, with a total investment of VND 2,074 billion, built in 3 phases, of which phase 1 has a scale of 97.4 hectares, with a total investment of more than VND 504 billion.

Accordingly, the power supply for production and business activities in the industrial park is planned to include 3 phases, corresponding to the expected power supply demand of phase 1 with a total capacity of 30MVA, phase 2 with a total capacity of 85MVA, phase 3 with a total capacity of 150MVA. Therefore, Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) and Quang Tri Development Joint Venture Company Limited have agreed on a cooperation plan to build and develop a power supply system for Quang Tri Industrial Park.
First of all, PC Quang Tri determines its responsibility as the investor, supplier, operator, maintenance and repairer of the medium and low voltage distribution grid system in Quang Tri Industrial Park, in compliance with the regulations, plans, planning and plans of the government, regulations of Vietnam Electricity Group and the design of the industrial park approved by the competent authority.
Within 5 - 6 months after the customer completes the electricity registration application, PC Quang Tri must connect and supply electricity to the customer's land plot and commit to investing in electrical works to the fence of the enterprises in accordance with the planning and plans approved by the competent authority.
PC Quang Tri is responsible for managing, operating, maintaining and repairing the medium and low voltage power grid system distributed in Quang Tri Industrial Park to the fence of each customer. Signing electricity purchase contracts directly with electricity customers, according to the electricity needs of customers after meeting all the conditions as prescribed.
PC Quang Tri commits to regularly maintain and periodically service transmission equipment and power lines belonging to the company's assets to ensure stable power supply for production and business for customers in the industrial park.
Regarding the scope, scale of construction and solutions for operating the electrical infrastructure, PC Quang Tri agrees with the direction and design route of Quang Tri Industrial Park and the consulting unit. Accordingly, PC Quang Tri will construct and install power lines in the service corridor that Quang Tri Industrial Park has arranged, committing to ensure power supply for loads in the industrial park. It is agreed that the branch cable route connecting from the 22kV grid to the customer's transformer station will be underground cable.
Regarding the renovation of the current 475 DSA line, PC Quang Tri requested early agreement with the local authorities on site clearance. According to the internal planning of the industrial park, at some locations, the 22kV line must be buried underground when crossing the road, and Quang Tri Development Joint Venture Company Limited is responsible for investing and installing conduits for these underground cables.
For specific items on detailed power supply design of Quang Tri Industrial Park, specialized departments and offices of the two sides will proactively coordinate and work to agree on detailed designs.
In addition, Quang Tri Development Joint Venture Company Limited commits to support Quang Tri PC and customers in the process of investing in power supply. Quang Tri Development Joint Venture Company Limited will arrange the site and route in accordance with the relevant floor system to ensure suitable conditions for Quang Tri PC to invest in power supply and must notify detailed information on the electricity demand of the loads in the industrial park and changes or difficulties related to the general planning of the industrial park that may affect the power system of Quang Tri PC.
The two sides agreed to create conditions for Quang Tri Development Joint Venture Company Limited or secondary investors in the industrial park to access, use, produce, and trade clean electricity sources if needed and in accordance with current legal regulations.
In the spirit of cooperation for mutual development, Quang Tri Development Joint Venture Company Limited hopes to continue to receive the support and cooperation of the electricity industry. Thereby, investors, factories and other loads will have access to clean electricity services and sources on the basis of compliance with regulations from local authorities and the electricity industry.
On the other hand, it will support and coordinate promptly with the electricity industry in the process of constructing and operating the power system in the industrial park and in protecting the power distribution equipment system, electrical works, and electrical safety in the industrial park in a stable, safe and sustainable manner.
