On July 29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province coordinated with the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Ninh Thuan province to hold a launching ceremony to deploy the construction of a pilot model of "Residential area participating in environmental protection, adapting to climate change" in Luong Cach village, Ho Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, in 2024.
Attending the event were Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Bich Ha, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan Province; Mr. Nguyen Khac Hoa, Vice Chairman of Ninh Hai District People's Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Bich Ha, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province, called on all levels, local authorities, and all people to promote the strength of great solidarity to propagate and mobilize each cadre, member and the masses to always set an example in maintaining environmental hygiene in public places, practicing a civilized lifestyle of not littering, eliminating harmful habits that affect the environment. Enhance the capacity and adaptation to climate change of the community.
Change the mindset and environmental protection behavior of organizations, individuals, and members with the right actions. Regularly organize general cleaning in villages and hamlets, encourage people to plant trees to create a green - clean - beautiful landscape.
Promote the role of people in monitoring the implementation of environmental protection and climate change adaptation by organizations and individuals in the community. Timely commend and reward organizations and individuals with good achievements in implementing the model "Residential areas participating in environmental protection and climate change adaptation".
Also at the ceremony, representatives of households in Luong Cach village , Ho Hai commune, Ninh Hai district signed a commitment to implement the model "Residential area participating in environmental protection and climate change adaptation" in 2024.
It is known that the model "Residential areas participating in environmental protection and climate change adaptation" was established with the purpose of propagating and mobilizing parishioners to actively participate in environmental sanitation activities, renewing the thinking and behavior of each person about the responsibility to protect the environment in the family, village, and hamlet.
Thereby helping people understand and better implement environmental sanitation, not littering, causing environmental pollution in residential areas, thereby creating a green - clean - beautiful lifestyle in residential areas.
On this occasion, the Green Planet Charity Association (GREEN PLANET) donated 100 trees to Hoi Hai commune. After the ceremony, Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, together with district leaders, leaders of departments, branches and officials of Ho Hai commune planted 100 trees in the campus of Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School.
