Focus on implementing 4 criteria by 2025

On the basis of the values ​​of "Pure heart - Bright mind - Great ambition", the Youth Union chapters, associations and teams in the province have promoted the effective implementation of the campaign "Building model values ​​of Vietnamese youth in the new period" launched by the Central Youth Union with 12 criteria. In 2025, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee focused on implementing "Building model values ​​of Phu Yen youth" with 4 specific criteria, including: Firm character, patriotism, proficient skills, and constant creativity; at the same time, determining to implement the pair of values: "Patriotism - Aspiration".

According to Mr. Luong Minh Tung, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, to deploy "Building model values ​​of Phu Yen youth" with the above 4 specific criteria widely and effectively, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee requested that all levels of the Youth Union strengthen propaganda activities, build and diversify modern media products to propagate the campaign, especially on digital platforms; concretize the model values ​​of Phu Yen youth into propaganda messages suitable to the tastes of young people.

A model of youth that is consistent with the value system will be the foundation for every young person to have great ambitions. Only with ambitions, beliefs, and great ideals can one plan one's own life, make long-term plans for oneself, and from there strive and practice.

The Youth Union chapters at all levels need to specify tasks and solutions to effectively organize 3 revolutionary action movements, 3 programs to accompany the youth; organize programs and activities so that through practice, the youth have an environment to contribute and mature; focus on ensuring the widespread nature, orientation, sustainability, effectiveness, creativity, taking the youth as the center and subject of the activities. Along with that, the whole union needs to strengthen inspection and supervision work; summarize the implementation of the movement, thereby evaluating and proposing good models, new and creative solutions, contributing to the effective implementation of the movement in the Youth Union chapters at all levels.

“In the context of the country entering a new era - the era of national development and deep integration today, young people have many opportunities to demonstrate and promote their own abilities, contribute their youth, and take the lead in the process of building and defending the Fatherland. Therefore, implementing and affirming the model of Vietnamese youth and Phu Yen youth in the new era is very important, because today's youth not only need knowledge but also need to have correct awareness and thinking, morality, and steadfast revolutionary ideals,” Mr. Tung emphasized.

Specify closely to the unit's characteristics

Four specific criteria for 2025 have been focused on by the provincial Youth Union at all levels. For the youth of Phu Yen Police, the criterion of "Strong character" is proactively implemented by the unit and considered as an important task to train and develop a young generation with sufficient qualities and capacity to meet the requirements of the new era.

According to Mr. Do Nhu Duong, Head of the Provincial Police Youth Union, the unit's youth clearly identified the criterion of "Firm courage" as having responsibility before the Fatherland, the Party, the People and the industry; living with ideals, ambitions, and a desire to reach for the new and progressive; absolutely believing in the Party and State's guidelines, policies and decisions in overcoming difficulties and challenges to build and protect the Fatherland, building a strong Vietnam.

“In the coming time, in order to continuously improve the political capacity of the police officers to meet the requirements of the task, the Provincial Police Youth Union will improve the quality of political and ideological education; focus on training, fostering, and improving the qualities and capacities of police officers and soldiers to meet the requirements of the task. Along with that, the Provincial Police Youth Union will improve the quality and effectiveness of work and combat, building a politically strong Phu Yen police force. Each officer and soldier will voluntarily train and improve their political capacity,” said Mr. Duong.

Meanwhile, at Tuy Hoa City Youth Union, training in proficiency skills among union members and young people is considered by all levels of the city's Youth Union as an effective solution to implement the campaign "Building model values ​​of Vietnamese youth in the new era", contributing to helping the young generation develop comprehensively, integrate confidently and step firmly into the future.

Mr. Le Duy, Secretary of the City Youth Union, said: In the coming time, the City Youth Union will promote skills training activities in a systematic, in-depth manner with a clear roadmap. All levels of the Youth Union, Association, and Teams in the city will innovate their approaches and apply digital technology to improve the quality of training; at the same time, expand cooperation with training organizations and businesses to create the best conditions for young people to train and practice skills in a real environment.
