The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has just submitted a document requesting the Ministry of Construction to review and submit to the Prime Minister for approval of the General Planning task of the new urban area of Binh Son, Quang Ngai province until 2045.
According to the Provincial People's Committee's Report, the General Planning of Binh Son New Urban Area to 2045 has been chaired by the Quang Ngai Department of Construction, in coordination with the consulting unit to complete according to regulations.
Specifically, the area for the General Planning of the new urban area of Binh Son, Quang Ngai until 2045 is about 46,685.24 hectares, including the entire administrative boundary of Binh Son district.
The objective of the Planning is to specify the orientations of the Quang Ngai Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; to specify the Resolution of the 20th Congress of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025...
The new urban area of Binh Son, Quang Ngai province by 2045, which the Provincial People's Committee submitted for appraisal, is an industrial - commercial - service - tourism urban area; a northern gateway urban area of Quang Ngai province, with a modern and synchronous technical and social infrastructure system; a national petrochemical and energy center; an industrial, service and tourism center of the Central Key Economic Region; and has an important position in terms of national security and defense.
In addition, Binh Son New Urban Area, Quang Ngai by 2045 will be one of the important transportation, goods exchange and international exchange hubs of the Central and Central Highlands regions; having an important position in terms of national security and defense.
It is expected that by 2030, Binh Son New Urban Area will have a total urban population of about 310,000 people, of which the inner-city population will be about 260,000 people; the urbanization rate will be about 85%. By 2045, the total urban population will be about 510,000 people, of which the inner-city population will be about 480,000 people, the urbanization rate will be about 95%.
Regarding land scale, by 2030, the civil land area will be about 5,000 hectares, of which the new residential land area will be about 28-55m2/person. By 2045, the civil land area will be about 7,500 hectares, of which the new residential land area will be about 28-55m2/person.
According to the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, the task of the General Planning of the new urban area of Binh Son until 2045 has proposed the contents and tasks that need to be studied during the planning process.
Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee requested the Ministry of Construction to review, appraise and submit to the Prime Minister for approval the Master Plan for the new urban area of Binh Son, Quang Ngai province until 2045 to have a basis for implementation.
