On the afternoon of June 12, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance announced information on gasoline price management, effective from 3:00 p.m. the same day.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market in this management period (from June 1 to June 12) is affected by factors such as the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its partners extending the production cut policy until the end of 2024.

In addition, Saudi Arabia voluntarily cut its production by an additional 1 million barrels per day from July 2023; concerns about reduced energy demand due to weak global economic growth... These factors have caused oil prices to fluctuate, but in general, they are increasing.
Gasoline prices on June 12: Gasoline prices remain unchanged, diesel prices increase slightly
During this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided to reduce the allocation level of the Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products; continue not to spend the fund for all petroleum products.
Specifically, the joint ministries will set aside funds for E5RON 92 gasoline at VND228/liter, RON 95 gasoline at VND180/liter; diesel at VND200/liter; kerosene at VND200/liter; and fuel oil at VND100/kg.
Accordingly, the selling price of popular gasoline products on the market, applied from 3:00 p.m. the same day for E5RON 92 gasoline: no higher than VND 20,878/liter (same as old price). The price of RON 95 gasoline is no higher than VND 22,015/liter (same as old price).
Meanwhile, oil prices fluctuated: kerosene price was no higher than VND17,823/liter (up VND52/liter); diesel price was no higher than VND18,028/liter (up VND85/liter); mazut price was no higher than VND14,719/kg (down VND164/kg).
