Today's world oil prices
World oil prices in today's trading session (July 15th, Vietnam time) showed a sideways trend: WTI crude oil was at $81.04 per barrel, up $0.02 per barrel, or 0.02%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at $81.02 per barrel and opened today's session at $81.19 per barrel.
Brent crude oil was trading at $85.08 per barrel, up $0.05 per barrel, or 0.06%. Brent crude closed the previous trading session at $85.03 per barrel and opened this morning's session at $85.08 per barrel.
The International Energy Agency (IEA) recently lowered its forecast for global oil demand growth amid a continued slowdown in world oil demand growth and declining consumption in China. Oil consumption in China has fallen for two consecutive months, April and May.
Domestic fuel prices today
On July 15th, the retail prices of gasoline and diesel fuel, according to Petrolimex 's published price list in Zone 1 and Zone 2 (applied to 46 provinces and cities), are as follows:
The aforementioned domestic retail fuel prices were adjusted by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the price adjustment meeting on the afternoon of July 11th. Accordingly, diesel fuel saw the sharpest decrease, at 342 VND/liter, followed by RON 95-III gasoline, which decreased by 258 VND/liter. E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased less, at 179 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 178 VND/liter. Mazut increased by 250 VND/kg.

The discounted prices of petroleum products today, July 15th, at some domestic gas stations are as follows:
Pvoil applies the following discounts on July 15th: RON 95-III gasoline: 1,500 VND/liter; RON 95-III gasoline: 1,450 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,400 VND/liter. These discounts apply at Pvoil Dinh Vu, Petec An Hai, and Cai Lan depots.
Tu Luc fuel company's discounts on July 15th are as follows: Diesel: 1,450 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,400 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,350 VND/liter.
MIPEC fuel discounts on July 15th: Gasoline 95: 1,300 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,200 VND/liter; diesel: 1,500 VND/liter.
Forecast of domestic gasoline and diesel prices for the next period.
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic fuel prices will fluctuate according to the global fuel situation. It is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, fuel prices will continue to decrease, with gasoline prices falling by 200-300 VND/liter and diesel by 200 VND/liter.
Since the beginning of the year, starting from the price adjustment on January 4th, gasoline prices have increased 16 times and decreased 12 times. Diesel prices have increased 15 times and decreased 13 times.
