Since September 30, a clip has been circulating on social media recording a scene of a male student and a female student sitting at the teacher's desk, making intimate gestures, with the caption "Can anyone verify whether this is a teacher or a student in the class?".
In the clip, at the teacher's desk, the male student puts his arm around the girl's shoulder, strokes her hair, their cheeks pressed together, and chats. Many students in the class below are witnessing, and some students filmed the scene.
Below the posts, some people said that this was a student joke, the girl in the clip was just a student editing a presentation, "if the girl in the clip was a teacher, this action would be unacceptable," one person commented.
Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the afternoon of October 2, Ms. Dao Thi Hoa, head of the Department of Education and Training of Long Bien district (Hanoi) said that the Department of Education and Training had received the above information two days ago.
According to Ms. Hoa, the police are currently coordinating to clarify the information spreading online.
"It is still unclear which school the incident occurred at and to what extent. When we have official information, we will inform the press," said Ms. Hoa.
