(Dan Tri) - During the inspection process, the authorities of Binh Phuoc province determined the cause of the spring water in Chon Thanh town turning red.

Red dye was determined to contain no toxic ingredients (Image cut from clip).

Company workers then sprayed the dye, causing it to flow into the stormwater drainage system and into the stream.

Through initial testing, authorities determined that this dye does not contain toxic ingredients.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Binh Phuoc province is still taking water samples for detailed analysis and making final conclusions.

As Dan Tri reported, at around 7:00 a.m. on December 3, residents of Minh Long ward discovered that the water in the stream (commonly known as stream 1) suddenly turned red, so they reported it to local authorities.
