Accordingly, the time to determine the price of the above apartments was April 30, 2009, that is, 15 years ago. The time to carry out the bidding package to determine the price of these apartments is within 30 - 45 days.
It is known that these 7 apartments are related to violations at Danang Housing Development Investment Joint Stock Company (abbreviated as Danang Housing Company), whose General Director at that time was Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung (known as Trung "fire").

Previously, at the end of 2021, the Da Nang City Inspectorate determined that at the High-rise Apartment Project No. 6 Nguyen Du, Da Nang Housing Company organized a limited bidding with 3 contractors, which was not in accordance with regulations.
The inspector also pointed out that the company's self-determined value of the remaining 7 apartments as of April 30, 2009 was in violation of regulations. This self-determined value lacked basis and did not reflect the basis for the selling price, the basis for determining the cost price for valuation.
From the inspection results, Da Nang City Police also investigated and determined that Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung had a series of violations in the management of public housing, including the High-rise Apartment Project No. 6 Nguyen Du.
In January 2024, the People's Court of Da Nang City tried and sentenced Nguyen Quang Trung to 8 years in prison for "Violating regulations on management and use of state assets, causing loss and waste".
