The score chase continued when Matheus Silva scored for Qarabag in the 102nd minute and Simon Banza scored a penalty for Braga in the 115th minute. It seemed like both sides would have to go into a penalty shootout, but Nariman Axundzada became the hero for Qarabag when he scored against Braga in the 120+2 minute. The Azerbaijani team lost 2-3 after 120 minutes in the second leg but won 6-5 on aggregate to book a ticket to the Europa League round of 16.

Meanwhile, AS Roma and Feyenoord went to a penalty shootout to decide the winner. The two sides drew 1-1 in the Netherlands in the first leg and repeated the same scoreline in the rematch in Italy.

AS Roma's compatriots AC Milan also entered the Europa League round of 16 despite losing 2-3 to Rennes in the second leg, as the Serie A representative had previously won 3-0 at home in the first leg.

At the Conference League arena, the organizing committee has determined that 7 more teams will follow Maccabi Haifa to continue after the knockout play-off round that took place in the early morning of February 23, including: Sturm Graz, Servette, Union Saint-Gilloise, Dinamo Zagreb, Olympiacos, Ajax and Molde.

In the Conference League round of 16, the group that passed the knockout play-off round will face the top eight teams in the Conference League group stage: Lille, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Viktoria Plzen, Club Brugge, Aston Villa, Fiorentina, PAOK, PAOK.

As planned, the draw for the round of 16 of the Europa League and Conference League will take place at 7:00 p.m. on February 23 (Vietnam time).
