The first quarter-final match of the National U15 Championship was between Hong Linh Ha Tinh and SLNA. As two teams with impressive performances in the group stage, SLNA and Hong Linh Ha Tinh were confident in playing an attacking game against their opponents. However, in the first set piece, SLNA's defense made a mistake.
In the 11th minute, from a free kick by Van Khanh, Quang Le rushed in and scored a tricky goal to open the score for Hong Linh Ha Tinh. Unexpectedly losing, coach Ngo Quang Truong asked his players to push up their formation to find an equalizer. The Nghe An team had their own chances but their bad mentality prevented them from solving the situation.

In the 80th minute, the turning point of the match occurred when Quang Le made a mistake of using his hand to play the ball in the penalty area and received a red card. At the 11-meter mark, Dong Thuc successfully executed the penalty kick to help SLNA tie the score 1-1.
With a shortage of players, Hong Linh Ha Tinh could not withstand the pressure of the opponent. In the 87th minute, Le Tan Dung scored the goal to make it 2-1 for SLNA, goalkeeper Duc Manh was still the one who made the mistake. In the end, the Nghe An team won the right to enter the semi-finals of the 2023 National U15 Championship.
The second quarter-final match was between the host team Ba Ria Vung Tau and PVF. With the advantage of the support of the fans, Ba Ria Vung Tau played with great effort despite being rated lower than their opponent. In the first half, PVF was the team that controlled the game, holding 58% of the ball on the field. However, they only had 4 shots in the first 45 minutes.
On the other side of the front line, Ba Ria Vung Tau knew how to take advantage of set pieces to threaten the opponent's goal. However, they were still far from scoring the opening goal. In the second half, PVF continued to have difficulty finding a way into the opponent's goal. However, the goal still came to the Northern representative.
In the 53rd minute, a Ba Ria Vung Tau defender made a mistake, allowing Duy Khang to escape and score from close range, breaking the deadlock for PVF.
In the 65th minute, Hoang Khanh jumped high and headed the ball to double the gap for PVF. No one was marking this player in the penalty area.
In the remaining time, Ba Ria Vung Tau could not score an equalizer and had to say goodbye to the tournament after the quarter-finals.
