On June 26, information from the office of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province said that the Chairman of the People's Committee of this province signed a decision to impose an administrative penalty on the Thang Long Dong Trong Company Limited (headquartered at 678 Nguyen Khoi, Thanh Tri Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi) for discharging waste exceeding the standards at the event organization center and the Royal House on Truong Chinh Street (Hai Duong City, Hai Duong).

According to the test results, the wastewater discharged by the above enterprise into the environment has 4 parameters exceeding the national technical standards on waste with a discharge flow of about 4 m3 /day and night. In which, the BOD5 parameter exceeds 15.96 times, Coliform exceeds 8.6 times, TSS exceeds 2.55 times and the NH4 + -N parameter exceeds 1.55 times.

Therefore, Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee fined Thang Long Bronze Drum Company Limited 144 million VND.

Thang Long Bronze Drum Company Limited was also forced to pay the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Hai Duong province over VND4.6 million for collecting, testing and analyzing waste samples released into the environment; at the same time, it had to take measures to remedy the environmental pollution.
