Lai Hung Commune, Bau Bang District: Started repairing houses for households with housing difficulties

Responding to the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to "Eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses", Lai Hung commune, Bau Bang district has just held a groundbreaking ceremony to repair the house of Ms. Vo Thi Be, residing in Lai Khe hamlet, Lai Hung commune. It is known that Ms. Vo Thi Be's family is a household with difficult housing circumstances in the locality. The house has been repaired with a corrugated iron roof, old ceiling panels removed, walls added, new purlins replaced, water-based paint rolled, ceramic tiled floors, new porches, bedroom partitions built... The total cost of the repair is 100 million VND, of which 5F System Joint Stock Company sponsored 50 million VND, the remaining cost is contributed by the family. The expected completion time of the project is the end of April 2025.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Ms. Vu Thi Kim Loan, Vice President of Bau Bang District Red Cross Society, sent her congratulations to Ms. Vo Thi Be’s household; and said that the houses of the “Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses” project are meaningful, bringing great joy to disadvantaged families, helping them have stable housing. Ms. Vu Thi Kim Loan also expressed her hope that Bau Bang District Red Cross Society will continue to receive the attention and support of sponsors to support disadvantaged families in the commune in particular and the district in general in the coming time.
