Mr. Le Thanh Minh is the son of martyr Le Van Lu, who sacrificed his life in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Due to difficult circumstances, Mr. Minh and his family do not have enough money to rebuild their dilapidated house. Therefore, the local government has considered supporting and building a new house for Mr. Minh's family worth 80 million VND, of which 60 million VND comes from the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the rest is contributed by family and relatives.

Ms. Huynh Thi Hien, Phuoc Hoa Hamlet, Gia Hoa 1 Commune, has just received the handover of housing from the local Party Committee and government in April 2025. Ms. Huynh Thi Hien is currently living with and taking care of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ba - the wife of a martyr in a house that is badly damaged and needs funds for repairs. According to Ms. Hien, thanks to the support of 30 million VND, she was able to repair the house to be clean and beautiful as it is now. The attention and care of the Party, State, and local government for policy families is the motivation for her to rise up in life.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong - Secretary of the Party Committee of Gia Hoa 1 commune said that the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" has been implemented by the locality resolutely and resolutely with the highest sense of responsibility. In particular, through the program to support housing for policy families and martyrs' relatives in the commune in recent times, it has received consensus and active support from the entire political system. In addition to State resources, the locality has mobilized the participation of the community, helping households reduce their burden and have a happy home. During this period, Gia Hoa 1 commune has built 5 new houses and repaired 3 houses for policy families and martyrs' relatives with a total amount of 390 million VND. In addition to the support from the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses", the locality has mobilized human and financial resources from the people, associations and organizations to help families build solid and spacious houses.
“All the houses were completed before the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
