According to information from the People's Committee of Pa Cheo commune, implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, in 2024 and 2025, Pa Cheo commune must eliminate 200 temporary and dilapidated houses. Specifically, in 2024, 30 houses will be rebuilt and 100 houses will be repaired; in 2025, 6 houses will be rebuilt and 64 houses will be repaired.

With the characteristics of being a particularly difficult commune, with a high rate of poor and near-poor households (accounting for nearly 65% of the total number of households), 100% of ethnic minorities, many remote villages, difficult traffic, and harsh weather, Pa Cheo commune faces many difficulties in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
In the past time, identifying the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses as an important political task, Pa Cheo commune has actively propagated, mobilized, promoted the strength of the entire political system, called for the support of organizations, individuals, businesses, philanthropists and the solidarity and mutual assistance of the people to speed up the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.
Accordingly, with the support of the State, Pa Cheo commune has mobilized organizations, individuals, and businesses to support and provide cash support of 236 million VND; 300 tons of cement; 1,600 m2 of corrugated iron; 300 working days to help people eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, equivalent to over 1 billion VND in cash. From there, many poor and disadvantaged households have been supported to start repairing and renovating their houses to ensure the assigned progress.

Up to now, Pa Cheo commune has completed the construction of 36 new houses and the repair of 134 houses as planned, becoming the first commune in Bat Xat district to complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. Thereby, contributing to helping people have stable housing and have more motivation to build a prosperous life.
In 2025, Bat Xat district will eliminate 1,471 temporary and dilapidated houses, of which 598 will be newly built and 873 will be repaired.
By mid-April 2025, Bat Xat district had completed the renovation and repair of 1,098 houses, reaching 99.86% of the plan.
