Few words, much meaning, clearly coach Hoang Anh Tuan wants to affirm that he will be patient with both Wellington and Odilzhon at least for the rest of the first leg.
What does coach Hoang Anh Tuan plan to do with Wellington and Tien Linh?
Coach Hoang Anh Tuan confirmed that he will not replace foreign players.
Ever since he was leading the Vietnamese youth teams, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan has always talked about dedicating himself to the national team. Coming to Binh Duong Club, he certainly will not forget that “mission”, besides the task of conquering titles for the team of Thu Dau Mot.
For that reason, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan is bringing inspiration to Nguyen Tien Linh, the student he affirms is the number one striker in Vietnam. Not only has he given compliments, he also considers the striker born in 1997 as the core of Binh Duong Club's playing style.
Look at the way coach Hoang Anh Tuan uses people to see that clearly. At the beginning of the 2023 - 2024 season, in addition to central defender Janclesio, coach Le Huynh Duc used striker Prince Ibara alongside winger Elogo. After that, Mr. Duc recruited midfielder Onoja and striker Charles Atshimene.
In both of these periods, Tien Linh had to play as a withdrawn striker. At times, he even played as a central midfielder. Previously, he also took on a similar role when Binh Duong Club owned Rimario Gordon, an excellent foreign striker in the V-League.

But Tien Linh under coach Hoang Anh Tuan will be a striker, exactly the position he plays in the Vietnam national team. As a result, Tien Linh has had a series of 2 consecutive matches scoring: a double at Thanh Hoa stadium and 1 goal against Hai Phong team.
Of these 3 goals, Wellington Nem contributed an assist from a precise corner kick on the right flank. This player's forte is a right winger who requires speed and is good at breaking through. When needed, he can play as an attacking midfielder or left winger.
In the match against Hai Phong FC, the Brazilian player did not make any mark in the attack, but he did contribute to the defense. He played aggressively, actively moved and was not afraid of collisions. Therefore, he was a bit "weak" and was replaced early.
