1,893 Cambridge and IELTS certificates awarded - a reward for persistent efforts
With the mission of accompanying parents to help their adopted children reach their dreams, in early March, VUS continued to award certificates to 1,733 students who received Cambridge certificates for Starters - Movers - Flyers levels and 160 students who achieved IELTS certificates of 7.0 or higher.
Up to 828 VUS students achieved excellent and absolute scores (14-15/15 shields) at Cambridge levels, 21 "band hunters" of IELTS Bounty Hunters achieved IELTS above 8.0. This result means that students can confidently use and communicate in English in their studies and life, thereby opening up new opportunities in 2024 as well as in the future.

According to VUS, in the last two diploma award ceremonies, many students impressed with their high achievements at such a young age. For example, student Tuan Vu achieved a perfect score of 15/15 at the Starters level when he was only 6 years old. Tuan Vu's mother shared: "I remember the first day he came to the center, he was still bragging about how foreign teachers praised his good pronunciation. Now he has a Cambridge diploma in his hand. I can't believe he's grown up so much."
The parent of student Khanh Nguyen - a student who achieved IELTS 8.5 also shared: "My child has been studying at VUS since grade 1 and by grade 7 he had achieved IELTS 8.0. Because he needed the certificate for university admission, he had to retake the exam and unexpectedly achieved a band score of 8.5. He is usually quiet and reserved, but since studying at VUS, he has changed, become more active, and has developed his strengths to the fullest. I am proud of him and also thank the teachers at VUS."

That is the passionate sharing of Hong Vy - the owner of IELTS 8.0, and also the person who represented the students attending the IELTS Bounty Hunters award gala to speak on stage. From a shy girl, under the guidance of teachers at VUS and the support of her parents, Vy has become more proactive in mastering English, achieving impressive achievements today.
"English has also given me a valuable life lesson: daring to dream is not enough, but we also have to be proactive in making our dreams come true. I believe that as long as we constantly strive to move forward, with a proactive spirit, we will always be steadfast in the face of life's uncertainties," Vy shared.

Minh Nhat - another student who achieved IELTS 7.0 attending the ceremony shared: "I learn English in a very comfortable way, because the teachers at VUS always encourage us to actively express our thoughts and opinions in English. Being proactive helps me to be self-aware, know how to set English goals and make plans to complete them. Since the age of 6, I have participated in Cambridge standardized exams, starting with Starters, the following years moving up to Movers, Flyers,.. and now IELTS - I feel very satisfied".
