(LĐ online) - Although construction has been completed, Dai Nga bridge connecting Loc Nga commune (Bao Loc city) and Loc An commune (Bao Lam district) on National Highway 20 still cannot be connected and put into use due to compensation and site clearance problems.
Dai Nga Bridge has been completed to replace the old Dai Nga Bridge which is deteriorating. |
The Dai Nga Bridge, about 100 meters long, located on National Highway 20, was newly built with a total investment of more than 440 billion VND and started construction in early 2023. This project is part of the Mimosa Pass Upgrade Project and bridges on National Highway 20, to replace the old, degraded Dai Nga Bridge.
The connecting road section of Dai Nga bridge at the bridge abutment in Loc Nga commune (Bao Loc city) has been completed. |
By the end of 2024, this bridge will be completed. The road connecting the bridge head at pier M1 (Loc Nga commune, Bao Loc city) has been completed. However, the road connecting the bridge head at pier M2 (in Loc An commune, Bao Lam district) cannot be implemented due to site clearance problems.
The road leading to the bridge abutment in Loc An commune (Bao Lam district) cannot be constructed due to compensation and site clearance problems. |
To build the connecting road at the bridgehead at pier M2 (Loc An commune, Bao Lam district), it is necessary to compensate and clear land of 4 households; in which, there are land areas that households are using located within the boundary of the road safety corridor.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has issued a document assigning relevant departments and branches to coordinate with Bao Lam District People's Committee to accelerate compensation and site clearance work to construct Dai Nga Bridge on schedule. Compensation and site clearance for Dai Nga Bridge must be completed before April 15, 2025. In case the locality fails to complete or delays, affecting the project implementation process without a valid reason, it must be responsible to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Currently, Bao Lam District People's Committee is directing relevant agencies and Loc An Commune People's Committee to work with households to negotiate land compensation and recovery, and promptly hand over the site so that the contractor and construction unit can complete the connecting road at the M2 bridge abutment.
Dai Nga Bridge is located on National Highway 20, a vital traffic route connecting Lam Dong with Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces. Every day, thousands of vehicles still have to travel on the existing Dai Nga Bridge with a narrow, degraded and very dangerous bridge surface.
