Bach Ma National Park leases more than 2,500 hectares of forest for eco-tourism and resort development

On April 18, Bach Ma National Park (Phu Loc district, Hue city) announced a plan to lease more than 2,500 hectares of forest to develop eco- tourism , resort and entertainment services.

It is expected that this model will attract about 300,000 visitors annually, bringing in revenue of 100-150 billion VND per year.

Previously, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (now the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ) approved the Project on eco-tourism, resort and entertainment at Bach Ma National Park for the period 2024 - 2030.

Accordingly, the total area planned for eco-tourism spots and routes is more than 4,000 hectares, with 12 rental spots and 14 tourist routes stretching nearly 200 km.

The project's goal is that by 2030, the number of annual visitors will reach more than 300,000, while tourism revenue will reach 100 - 150 billion VND.

The technical and tourism infrastructure system will be completed, creating 12 unique tourist spots and 14 routes, making Bach Ma National Park one of the outstanding destinations in the Central region and the whole country.

In addition, the project also expects to attract 5-10 investors from socialized capital to develop tourism in the area, creating jobs for 150-300 direct workers and 300-600 indirect workers.

However, the development of ecotourism in Bach Ma National Park will comply with legal regulations on forest, environmental and cultural protection, while ensuring that no deforestation occurs.

Construction works here must be in harmony with nature and use environmentally friendly materials.

An important point is not to organize tourism activities in the strictly protected area of Bach Ma National Park, ensuring sustainability in tourism development associated with the protection of natural resources.
