Vinh Hai Commune (Ninh Hai) has 200 hectares of grapes. Currently, garden owners are busy preparing to take care of the grapes to serve tourists who come to visit and enjoy the spring.

These days, the vineyards of farmers in Thai An village, Vinh Hai commune, are filled with laughter because this year the grapes are ripe and heavy on the branches right on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024. Currently, the gardeners are busy taking care of the ripe grapes, ready to welcome visitors to visit and enjoy fresh grapes right in the garden. While busy cutting bunches of ripe red grapes in the garden, farmer Pham The Anh excitedly said: Thanks to favorable weather, this year my family's 5 sao of grapes are growing well, bearing fruit and are ready to welcome visitors. Thanks to growing grapes in greenhouses and choosing new grape varieties to serve tourists, since the grapes ripened until now, the vineyard has welcomed hundreds of visitors every day. To serve the needs of tourists, the vineyard does not only grow one type of grape but I also grow many different types of grapes, such as: Japanese Red Grapes, Black Finger Grapes, Korean Milk Grapes, Candy Grapes, Seedless Red Grapes, with a yield of nearly 2.5 tons/sao and grown according to VietGAP standards, so they sell at high prices. Specifically, Japanese Red Grapes are 150,000 VND/kg, Black Finger Grapes, Korean Milk Grapes, Candy Grapes, Seedless Red Grapes are 250,000 VND/kg.

Located next to Mr. The Anh's vineyard, farmer Ha Van Thanh also excitedly said: With more than 20 years of experience growing grapes, I, as well as other households in the village, always wait for the right time to cut branches to have grapes for Tet. This year, thanks to favorable weather at the end of the year, the grape trees bloomed and bore fruit right on Tet. With 3.3 sao of red grapes grown and traders buying them at the garden for 30,000 VND/kg, I, as well as the farmers, are very excited.

Most of the grape growers in Thai An village are preparing for the Tet holiday and have begun to ripen. The price of grapes sold to traders and tourists is also stable, so everyone is excited. Mr. Nguyen Khac Phong, Director of Thai An Agricultural Cooperative, said: Every time Tet comes, grape farmers are busy taking care of fresh bunches of grapes to serve tourists. This year, the vineyards are all ripe, promising to bring tourists the most novel and attractive feeling. With suitable climate and soil, the grapes are sweet, crunchy, and larger than grapes in some other places. In particular, grape farmers have boldly applied scientific and technical advances to production, as well as grown new grape varieties, creating delicious grapes with beautiful colors and high value.

With careful preparation by grape growers in Thai An village, it is hoped that this year, Thai An grapes will be the top choice for consumers and an attractive destination for tourists. Coming here, in addition to visiting the vineyard and enjoying grapes, visitors can also experience the grape growing process and pick ripe bunches of grapes themselves.
