Naval Region 4 promotes sea and islands, attracts resources in Lam Dong

The working delegation of the Naval Region 4 Command led by Lieutenant Colonel Bui Vi Long, Political Commissar of Brigade 162, completed the program content in coordination with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee to promote seas and islands, attracting resources in the first phase of 2025 in the area.

From April 1-3, the reporters provided nearly 2,000 teachers and students of 4 schools: Bui Thi Xuan, Chi Lang, Dong Da and Herman Gmeiner in Da Lat city and more than 300 members of the Lam Dong Provincial Women's Union with the latest basic information on the situation of the sea and islands; historical evidence affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; the viewpoints and policies of the Party and State on protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands; and outstanding results in performing tasks over 70 years of building, fighting and growing of the heroic Vietnam People's Navy.

Students were given leaflets, watched films and listened to information about the 70-year tradition of the Naval Academy; conditions and admission process to become officers serving in the Navy; policies and regimes for students and after graduation.

This is an activity to promote and raise awareness among teachers and students about the position, role and importance of the sea and islands and the Vietnam People's Navy. From there, it determines the obligations and responsibilities of citizens; attracts resources to build a "revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern" Navy, firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the new period.
