"Muay Thai King" Saenchai knocks out his opponent.
After being criticized for bullying the weak, Saenchai (real name Narongsak Kaewmala, also known as Tawanchai) affirmed his status as the "King of Muay Thai" with a victory last night (January 25) over Suppachai Muensang (real name Suppachai Muensang). Superbon is known as a student of Muay Thai legend Buakaw Banchamek.
The "King of Muay Thai" showed his superiority right from the first round. Superbon had no chance to use his "thousand-pound kick" technique. Saenchai overwhelmed his opponent, making his student Buakaw's strategy useless, to Superbon's surprise.
"In the first round, Superbon was lurking, observing Tawanchai closely, waiting for him to kick first and then counterattack with punches. However, in the second round, Tawanchai changed his tactics. He punched first and then kicked. Superbon was not ready to respond, he seemed surprised. Tawanchai's punches were very strong and sharp," commented expert Chatri Sityodtong.
In the second round, Superbon was knocked down three times in a row. On the third occasion, the referee was forced to intervene to stop the match, awarding Saenchai the victory. This is the second consecutive victory of the "King of Muay Thai" against this opponent. The previous match, which took place in December 2023, was also the Muay Thai Lightweight Championship match of ONE Championship - Asia's leading mixed martial arts, kickboxing and Muay Thai arena.
Not wanting to stop there, Saenchai aims to rematch with the student of "Muay Saint" Buakaw under kickboxing rules. The match has been scheduled and if he wins, Saenchai will receive 10 million baht (about 7.5 billion VND).
