The royals made the upbeat remarks in their annual message on April 17, before King Charles attended a service at Durham Cathedral with Queen Camilla, where they presented coins to 76 men and 76 women to mark the king’s age in a ceremony that dates back to the 13th century.

"Jesus' act of humility is a symbol of love without boundaries. The love he showed while on earth reflects the Jewish ethic of caring for strangers and those in need, a deep human instinct reflected in Islam, other religions, and in the hearts of all who seek the good of others... There are three things the world still needs: faith, hope, and love. And the greatest of these is love," King Charles wrote in a message.
Alarm about King Charles' health
Last week, RadarOnline.com revealed concerns over King Charles' health - which have become so serious that Prince William, 42, and Kate Middleton, 43, are being tipped to become the next king and queen of the United Kingdom.

A source said: "Recent concerns about King Charles' health have put Prince William and the Princess of Wales on high alert, anticipating the possibility of his accession to the throne sooner than expected. They remain hopeful that he will recover and wish him many more years on the throne, but they cannot ignore the harsh reality that circumstances can change suddenly.
The king's hospitalization last week was a sobering reminder of his ongoing health problems."
King Charles was also aware of this and prepared for William to take over the throne at any time.
"Whether the transition comes through an abdication due to King Charles's failing health or through deep sadness at his passing, the inevitability of it is becoming clearer. While William and Kate continue to wish the king a speedy recovery, it is clear that they are ready to carry out their duties if necessary.
The royal family understands the importance of planning for the future, and while the thought of losing King Charles is difficult, they are prepared for what might happen,” the source said.
