Under the agreement, VinFast and its dealers will work hard to open 22 showrooms, concentrated on major roads in the Greater Bangkok Area. With a high electrification rate and developed charging infrastructure, this is a key area in VinFast’s expansion strategy in the Thai market to take advantage of its diverse range of urban electric vehicles.

Accompanying VinFast in its first milestones in the market, leading Thai dealers see opportunities from the sustainable transportation trend through cooperation with pure electric vehicle brands like VinFast. VinFast's brand reputation and diverse product range also strengthen dealers' confidence in the business prospects of the Vietnamese electric vehicle company.

In addition to Bangkok and five neighboring provinces in the Greater Bangkok Area, VinFast's dealer network will also expand to major cities such as Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Ayutthaya and Chonburi. The successful signing of 15 dealers opens up opportunities to exploit the huge potential in Thailand, one of the leading automobile markets in the region. This move is also in line with VinFast's goal of expanding its global sales network, increasing revenue and optimizing costs in 2024.

Dealers in Thailand are expected to sell the VF e34, VF 5, VF 6 and VF 7 models in the first phase, right after these models are launched in the market. The order taking time, prices and after-sales policies will be officially announced in 2024. In addition, Thai dealers will also sell VinFast electric motorbike products.

Through a comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem and diverse, smart green mobility solutions, VinFast will fully meet the flexible and environmentally friendly mobility needs of Thai consumers.

The cooperation agreement will enhance our presence and become a solid launch pad for VinFast's future development momentum in the Thai market. We also aim to expand our electric vehicle distribution network to cover major cities in Thailand, keeping up with the strong green transportation revolution in the country and globally."

The rapid expansion of the dealer network has affirmed VinFast's position and strong acceleration in the Thai market. This start demonstrates VinFast's great development potential and consolidates the Vietnamese electric vehicle company's leading position in the green transition wave in the region and globally.

According to the plan, in 2024, VinFast will expand its operations to at least 50 countries around the world. In addition to key markets such as the US, Canada and Europe, VinFast is strongly expanding to neighboring countries in the Asian region such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, as well as the Middle East and Africa.
