The fake medicine was sold in many counters and pharmacies. Which pharmacies were they?

On April 24, a source from the Economic Police Department of Thanh Hoa Province Police said that during the investigation in recent days in this province, the economic police force discovered that many drugstores and some personal Facebook accounts were selling fake drugs.

According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, the pharmacies that have just been discovered selling fake drugs are:

- Duc Tin pharmacy in Nam Ngan ward, Thanh Hoa city;

- Binh Minh pharmacy in Nghe market, Hau Loc district;

- Thang Hong pharmacy in Thieu Long commune, Thieu Hoa district;

- Thuan Huong pharmacy in Ben Sung town, Nhu Thanh district.

In addition, a Facebook account named "Nga Hoang" in Thieu Hop commune, Thieu Hoa district and a Facebook account named "Tran Thu" in Thieu Hoa district also advertised selling fake drugs.

To date, authorities have not been able to count the number of fake drugs sold to people by the above-mentioned pharmacies and social media accounts.

Thanh Hoa Provincial Police are coordinating with the provincial Department of Health to check the quality of products involved in the recently busted counterfeit drug case.

At the same time, strictly handle cases of trading in fake drugs, drugs of unknown origin, smuggled drugs, drugs bought and sold without valid invoices or documents, and expired drugs.

As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have just dismantled a large-scale counterfeit medicine production and trading ring.

Regarding this line, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have initiated a case and prosecuted 14 defendants for the crime of "producing and trading in counterfeit disease prevention and treatment drugs".

Police seized nearly 10 tons of fake medicine and raw materials for producing fake medicine.

Among the 14 defendants, 3 defendants in Thanh Hoa City have intermediate pharmacy degrees and pharmacy practice certificates and were prosecuted for trading in fake drugs: Duong Thi Oanh, 33 years old, residing in Truong Thi ward; Pham Thi Thao, 37 years old, residing in Dong Hai ward and Pham Thi Thu, 32 years old, residing in Dong Ve ward.

Thanh Hoa Provincial Police are continuing to investigate the case.
