In the first 6 months of 2024, the total production value of Vu Thu district is estimated at over 6,705 billion VND, an increase of 5.49% over the same period in 2023, reaching 44.09% of the annual plan. The agricultural and industrial production sectors grew higher than the same period. Budget collection has made a breakthrough, of which the revenue from land use rights auctions is estimated at 488 billion VND, exceeding the plan set for 2024 by 108 billion VND. Site clearance work has had positive changes, typically the 500KV power line project, the DT.454 road construction project. The education sector has maintained the emulation movement, the results of excellent student exams, public high school and specialized school entrance exams are among the top in the province. Traditional festivals and cultural fields have had positive and clear innovations. Political security, social order and safety are maintained. The limitations are that the progress of urban planning projects and advanced rural construction has not met requirements, site clearance work for some projects has encountered many difficulties, some complicated security and order incidents have arisen, and traffic accident indexes have increased.

Enterprises and production establishments in Vu Thu district operated stably in the first 6 months of 2024.

In the last 6 months of the year, Vu Thu district focused on drastically implementing the work of building advanced new rural areas, developing OCOP products; rectifying and strengthening the work of granting land use right certificates for the first time; drastically implementing the work of site clearance for projects; well organizing activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of Thu Vu Party Cell, 55th anniversary of the establishment of Vu Thu district; maintaining security and order in the area.
