Towards the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024) and the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2024), on April 27 and 28, Vu Thu district organized many unique and meaningful cultural, artistic and folk game activities at the special national relic Keo Pagoda (Duy Nhat commune).
People of Keo village, Duy Nhat commune perform a dance at Tam Quan Ngoai Keo pagoda.
At the Tam Quan Ngoai Keo Pagoda, people and tourists from all over the country can watch activities such as the tran can dance, frog-catching dance, and the sanh tien mo lop dance. These are all ancient dances associated with the story of Zen Master Duong Khong Lo, the national teacher of the Ly Dynasty who built Keo Pagoda and were performed by students and people of Keo village, Duy Nhat commune. Along with the ancient dance performances, on April 27 and 28, the district also organized other activities such as boat singing and duck catching on the lake.
