Regarding the case of a student of Le Hong Phong High School, Bim Son town (Thanh Hoa) whose scores were entered incorrectly, causing him to go from failing the 10th grade entrance exam to becoming valedictorian, the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training has sent a report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education and Training.

According to the explanation, the above incident did not happen because of the teacher marking the test but because of the re-scoring and scoring team of the Ngoc Lac High School exam board. Specifically, the re-scoring and scoring team mistakenly scored the CTH candidate in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year. Accordingly, the responsibility belongs to the chairman of the exam board.

The Department Inspectorate also worked with the family, the examination board and the teachers directly involved, affirming that there was no negativity in this incident.

Accordingly, this candidate did not have enough points to be admitted to the school. On September 26, Le Hong Phong High School invited the student's family representative to send a notice of the 10th grade admission results of student H.

On October 8, the Department of Education and Training issued a notice and directed Ngoc Lac High School to review the responsibilities of staff and teachers directly related to the above errors. On October 9, Ngoc Lac High School organized a council to review the responsibilities of related members.

As a result, disciplinary action in the form of a reprimand was taken against Ms. Ngo Thi Tuyet, a teacher at Ngoc Lac High School, who gave the wrong score.

Reviewing and drawing experience from the staff and teachers of Ngoc Lac High School, including: Mr. Vu Ngoc Liem - Principal of Ngoc Lac High School; Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh, Vu Thi Thuy, Tran Thi Tu, all teachers of Ngoc Lac High School in the recovery team.

Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training also seriously learned from experience in directing and managing exams more closely, enhancing the responsibility of staff, strictly implementing exam regulations and instructions, and avoiding unfortunate mistakes.
