Regarding the clip of a male student in Hanoi being beaten by a friend in the middle of the classroom that recently caused a stir in public opinion, Hoang Dieu Secondary and High School has sent a report to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

The school said that after the incident in which a 10A2 student, NVTH, beat his friend VMĐ during break time, the school asked student H. to write a self-criticism report on the incident as well as promise not to repeat the act of beating his friend.

Hoang Dieu Secondary and High School also invited the parents of the two students to come to work. H.'s parents apologized and D.'s parents accepted the apology. H.'s parents said they would coordinate with D.'s family to handle the matter and take responsibility in case D. had health problems.

The school also asked TMN - the person who filmed the clip, to report the incident. Realizing his inappropriate behavior, this male student promised not to continue violating the rules of school conduct.

In addition, Hoang Dieu Secondary and High School held a meeting with the homeroom teacher and the student's family to analyze the inappropriate actions of H. and N., which violated school regulations. While waiting for the disciplinary council to meet and issue official disciplinary action, the two students were suspended from school for 3 days (September 16, 17 and 18) to reflect on their inappropriate actions, which affected the reputation of the school and tarnished the image of students in the capital.

A representative of Hoang Dieu Secondary and High School said that they have seriously reviewed the education of students. In the coming time, the school will strengthen propaganda and education for students to properly implement the code of conduct for cultural education at school as well as manage them more closely during breaks and class changes.

Immediately after the incident, the school intervened, gathered information and invited students and their parents to clarify and handle the matter.
