Singer and musician Vu has just released the album "Museum of Regret" and announced a concert tour of the same name in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi on October 12 and 26.

The album "Museum of Regret" includes 10 works selected from 30 songs that Vu composed in nearly 3 years, revolving around the themes of love between couples, brotherhood and comradeship. The project marks Vu's collaboration with artists such as Ha Anh Tuan, My Anh, Duy Khang (Chillies), rapper Binz, Low G and the band Dear Jane from Hong Kong. Previously, 3 songs "Forgotten Promises", "Spending All Springtime to Wait for Each Other", and "Peace" were released.

Through the album, Vu wants to represent a generation that dares to express regrets, with the meaning that regrets that are too great need a museum to contain them.

Vu came to Hoa Binh to live for a month to find inspiration and complete the works, taking material from small experiences in daily life and synthesizing regrets from the past. He admits that the music and lyrics are not specific, somewhat rambling, but thanks to that, it is easy to reach the audience's sympathy.

Vu was surprised when Binh Yen was well received, despite the different color from his previous sad songs. He was not worried about releasing the song in the middle of two programs about "Anh Trai" attracting attention, but focused on his work. Vu was also not worried about organizing a concert tour in October, coinciding with Duc Tri and Uyen Linh's concert.

Vu released the MV " If there are regrets" from the album, admitting that this is a new step in his career because it has the most acting scenes of him. Although it was an interesting experience, he affirmed that this will be the first and last time he acts in a similar MV, because he feels shy when watching it again and finds it difficult to look into the eyes of any woman. The song conveys the message that people can find peace of mind after regrets, from the simple things in life.

The entire album will be performed live by Vu at the concert tour, with the participation of Ha Anh Tuan, Khang (Chillies) and a secret guest at the outdoor concert in Ho Chi Minh City. Vu emphasized that the "specialty" of the concert is that the audience sings louder than the singer and he wants to maintain this. He will perform with a guitar and not dance, because he admits that he is "stiff in front of the camera".

Vu said the outdoor concert, which is longer than 2 hours, will provide better sound, allowing the audience to easily put their arms around each other and sing new arrangements of La Lan and Dong Kiem Em.

Although he tried to compose about family, Vu admitted that he was unsuccessful because "writing about it makes me sad" and that family is difficult to express through music. He wants to compose about many topics other than love in the future, but realizes that he needs more experience. Vu praised Phan Manh Quynh, who can compose about diverse topics such as workers, hometown, and country.
