The case of 4 Vietnamese people dying in Bangkok, Thailand: Completed procedures to bring the victims' bodies back home

According to VNA, regarding the incident in which 6 people, including 4 Vietnamese citizens, died at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel in Bangkok, on July 19, the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand assisted the victims' families in receiving their belongings handed over by the Thai police and continued to advise and guide them on related consular procedures.

On the same afternoon, the Embassy issued death certificates and entry permits for the bodies, and monitored the process of handing over the bodies to their families, scheduled for July 20 and 21, 2024.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand has also forwarded detailed information to domestic authorities, requesting assistance with immigration procedures for the body, and will continue to closely monitor the situation, coordinate closely with authorities to clarify information and continue to deploy necessary citizen protection measures.
