Authorities in Dak Mil district (Dak Nong) initially determined that the reason two female 9th grade students were stabbed by two male students and had to be hospitalized was due to a previous conflict.
On the afternoon of November 12, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Mil district informed that the unit had sent a report to the People's Committee of Dak Mil district about the incident in which two male students of Nguyen Hue Secondary School used sharp objects to stab two female students, causing them to be hospitalized.
Accordingly, on the morning of November 11, after the flag salute at the beginning of the week, two female students DTKT and TTTTr. (both in grade 9) went to the toilet and met male student NXTh. (grade 8). Here, female student T. used inappropriate words towards Th. because she thought that Th. had told the teacher about her previous fight, leading to a fight.
At this time, student TCU (grade 9) appeared and used scissors to stab student T. in the back and arm, while student Th. used a sharp object to stab student Tr. in the back. The incident injured two female students T. and Tr. and they had to be taken to the Dak Mil District Medical Center for emergency treatment.
Tr. was diagnosed with a stab wound in the back and had to have the wound stitched and his health monitored. This morning (November 12), he was discharged from the hospital and returned home.
T. suffered 7 wounds on his back and left arm, suspected of hemorrhaging, pneumothorax, and lung perforation, so he was transferred to the Central Highlands General Hospital for endoscopic surgery and pleural fluid drainage. Currently, T. is conscious and is still being monitored and treated by doctors.
After the incident, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Mil district directed Nguyen Hue Secondary School to coordinate with Thuan An Commune Police to investigate and handle the case.
