On the afternoon of May 3, in Sam Son City, Vietnam Television Center for the Central Highlands - Central Region (VTV8) coordinated with the Vietnam Tennis Federation, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa, and the People's Committee of Sam Son City to organize the announcement ceremony of the "National Beach Tennis Championship VTV8 Cup - Sam Son, Thanh Hoa 2024" and the special art exchange program "Rear and Frontline".

Accordingly, from May 4 to 7, the "National Beach Tennis Championship VTV8 Cup - Sam Son, Thanh Hoa 2024" will take place in Sam Son City, marking the official presence of this sport in Sam Son. The tournament attracts the participation of delegations of athletes from 7 provinces and cities, bringing together professional and semi-professional tennis players from tennis clubs and federations across the country. The matches of the tournament will be broadcast on VTV8 channel, VTV's digital infrastructure and the Vietnam Tennis Federation.

The Gala Awards Night with special 70-minute performances will be broadcast live at 8:00 p.m. on May 7 in Sam Son City.

The “National Beach Tennis Championship VTV8 Cup - Sam Son, Thanh Hoa 2024” is organized with the goal of bringing beach tennis to a large number of players, creating conditions for athletes to have more opportunities to access, train, and improve their achievements in the region and internationally. At the same time, it contributes to promoting tourism potential and promoting investment opportunities in Sam Son City.

Mr. Truong Duy Hoa, Deputy Director of VTV8, Deputy Head of the Information Organizing Committee, informed about the art program "Rear and Frontline".
Through music and meticulously and carefully produced reports, the art program fully and truthfully recreates the 9-year long resistance war against the French colonialists. During the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, the army and people of Thanh Hoa both fought and served in combat, providing human and material support to the fronts, making an important contribution to the great victory of the nation.

The art program “The rear and the frontline” will take place at Lam Son Square (Thanh Hoa City) at 8:05 p.m. on May 6 and will be broadcast live on VTV8, Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station. The program will feature famous artists such as Trong Tan, Le Anh Dung, Linh Chi and many others.
