According to VTV Times, Vietnam Television (VTV) has worked with authorities on the incident of a 16-seat driver recklessly overtaking and causing an accident in Mai Chau.
The family of the 16-seat driver and the leaders of the Vietnam Television Film Center (VFC) have contacted the family of the truck driver involved in the accident and visited, encouraged, and supported the truck driver during the treatment process. Up to now, the truck driver is conscious and is assessed by doctors to be progressing well.
With the driver driving the 16-seat vehicle, the Television Film Center is carrying out the handling procedure according to working regulations.

"Vietnam Television deeply regrets this serious incident and will proactively coordinate with the authorities and the truck driver's family to resolve the case in accordance with the spirit of the rule of law," according to VTV Times.
The incident occurred on the morning of November 17, at Km133+500 of National Highway 6 in Dong Tan Commune, Mai Chau District. According to images from a dashcam, a 16-seat car managed by the Television Film Center (VFC) - Vietnam Television Station drove completely into the opposite lane, passing 2 cars on the road near a sharp curve.
At this time, the truck carrying a small crane had just passed the curve when it encountered a 16-seat vehicle driving in the wrong lane. The driver quickly swerved to avoid the reckless vehicle, leading to a serious accident.
At the scene, the truck crashed into the roadside. The driver was trapped in the cabin, and it took about an hour to get him out and taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Authorities added that the truck driver is being treated at Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi.
