VTV reaches agreement to broadcast up to 7 matches of Vietnam national team, audience is very happy

On January 10, VTV announced that it had reached an agreement to broadcast the 2023 Asian Cup finals in Vietnam. Accordingly, 51 matches of the tournament will be broadcast live on VTV channels. Viewers can also watch the matches live on VTV channels on the VTVgo platform.

Previously, FPT also announced that there will be 51 matches broadcast on FPT. Number of matches of Vietnam team: minimum 3 group stage matches and maximum 7 matches if reaching the final round. VTV is similar.

Vietnam team to play closed friendly match on January 9

At the 2023 Asian Cup, the Vietnamese team is in Group D with Japan (meeting on January 15), Iraq (meeting on January 19) and Indonesia (meeting on January 24 ).

On January 9, the Vietnamese team lost a friendly match 1-2 to the Kyrgyzstan team. Goalkeeper Nguyen Filip had an incomplete debut for the Vietnamese team when he conceded a goal in the 31st minute in a situation where he did not have much chance to save.

After the break, Coach Troussier let Nguyen Filip play for a while before bringing Dinh Trieu on. This goalkeeper also had to accept a goal in the 74th minute after a shot from the opposing striker. The Vietnamese team only got 1 goal from Truong Tien Anh and accepted a 1-2 defeat.

After this rehearsal, the French strategist will select 26 official players to participate in the upcoming final round. The first match of the Vietnamese team in the 2023 Asian Cup finals will be a match against the Japanese team at 6:30 p.m. on January 14, Vietnam time.
