He will also search through archives, interview witnesses, and go to the places where his father's war legacy in Vietnam was located to find the X factor, the mysterious factor about the Vietnamese army and people that Robert McNamara had a headache and could not calculate in his war calculations, only to receive a bitter ending.

Representing the production crew, journalist Le Hoang Linh said that the film will realistically and vividly portray the heroic perseverance and indomitable will of the Vietnamese army and people, the timeless vision of President Ho Chi Minh and the outstanding Vietnamese leaders who dared to confront the world's number one military superpower to create a brilliant milestone in the history of the Vietnamese people's resistance against foreign invaders, shaking the world.

Episode 1 of the film will follow the journey of Mr. Robert McNamara and explain why the Vietnamese were able to win that war. Episode 2 of the film will be the journey of Craig McNamara - the journey of the psychological transformation of the son of the Secretary of Defense to become an anti-war person, opposing the war that his father was the "conductor."

The film also opens up something bigger than the deep conflicts in American families, going deep into the psychology - from the story of the McNamara father and son, which is also the story of America.

In addition to Mr. Craig McNamara, the documentary also features historical witnesses and famous experts on the Vietnam War in the US, revealing little-known facts about the war against the US. The English version of the film is expected to be broadcast soon, serving international audiences.
