The first half of the match faced many difficulties against Saipa Tehran, but VTV Binh Dien Long An still successfully overcame their opponents thanks to the high performance of the Polish foreign player.

Having gone through 5 sets against Beijing BAIC Motor and having less than 1 day off is VTV Binh Dien Long An's biggest disadvantage before the decisive match against Saipa Tehran. After the defeat in set 1, coach Thai Quang Lai sent Lu Thi Phuong in to replace Le Nhu Anh and immediately Long An showed signs of improvement, especially in situations where they served to break an opponent's step.

The 1-1 draw helped the Vietnamese representative play more confidently. Attacking players like Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, and especially foreign player Natalia Lijewska, played better and better, creating a big difference in scores in all 3 sets.

The mark of the Polish foreign player was clearly shown in set 4 when the ball from Kim Thoa's hand always found the address named Lijewska. Responding to that trust, the 23-year-old striker continuously brought home points to help VTV Binh Dien Long An leave the opponent far behind.

Along with that, Thanh Thuy still maintained good form. After scoring 20 points in the match against Beijing BAIC Motor, the main player in jersey number 3 brought home 18 points, being the best scorer of VTV Binh Dien Long An against Saipa Tehran.

After 4 sets, the Vietnamese representative had a 3-1 victory over the Iranian team (22-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15). This result helped Thanh Thuy and her teammates finish Group C with 4 points and second place, VTV Binh Dien Long An won a ticket to the quarterfinals to meet Kaohsiung Taipower (Taiwan).

This is not an easy opponent when the Taiwanese representative won the top spot in Group A with 2 victories over Hip Hing and the highly rated home team Petro Gazz. The match between VTV Binh Dien Long An and Kaohsiung Taipower takes place at 3:00 p.m. on April 25 (Vietnam time).
