VRG said that on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the tradition of the Vietnamese rubber industry (October 28, 1929 - October 28, 2024), the unit organized the 6th press-art photo contest Light from the White Gold Stream.
According to VRG, over the years, the unit has always strived for the goal of sustainable development, linking three pillars: economic development, environmental protection and community and social responsibility. VRG is promoting the process of inclusive and circular green transformation, ensuring sustainability throughout the entire supply chain, joining hands for a friendly environment.
With this meaning, in 2024, VRG chose the theme of the competition on green growth of the rubber industry. The authors submitting photos focused on the rubber business journey from seedling production, new planting, care, exploitation, processing, manufacturing of rubber industrial products, activities to honor the beauty of workers in the industry. In particular, priority was given to photos that conveyed the message that people in the rubber industry are responsible to society and protect the environment.
VRG also hopes to receive entries that recognize and reflect companies, units, groups, and individuals that preserve, inherit, and promote traditional values of the rubber industry; and families of workers with 3-4 generations working in rubber.
Participants can submit many entries, reflecting in a diverse, rich, vivid and authentic way the main business sectors and fields of VRG such as exploitation, processing and trading of rubber wood; rubber industry; industrial zones on rubber land; development of high-tech agriculture.

Participants in the photo contest Light from the white gold stream include:
- Professional and amateur photographers from home and abroad
- Journalists, reporters, photojournalists at central and local press agencies
- Officials, civil servants, workers inside and outside the rubber industry
- Members of the organizing committee and jury are not allowed to participate.
Regarding the requirements for entries, VRG said there is no limit to the number of entries for each author, but each author can only use one name or pen name.
Contest photos must include the name of the work, time and place of shooting; clearly state the author's full name, contact address, phone number, email...
Contest photos include color or black and white photos taken by the author himself, with a capacity of 2 MB or more, JPEG format. The photos have not won any previous photo contests.
For works selected for the final round, authors must send 30×45 cm developed photos for the judges to judge.
If the author does not submit a photo, the organizers have the right to disqualify that work from the final round. The winning photo will be used by the organizers for the purpose of promoting and advertising the 2024 contest, as well as other activities to promote the Vietnamese rubber industry. The author is responsible for the copyright of the work.
The prize structure includes 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, a medal and 5 consolation prizes. In addition, the organizing committee will select about 40 photos for exhibition.
Time to receive works from March 15 - September 15 , 2024. The announcement and award ceremony will be on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese rubber industry (October 28, 1929 - October 28 , 2024).
