In order to support customers to update biometrics quickly and promptly, ensuring no interruption in transactions, VPBank continues to enhance the most optimal and convenient support solutions for customers. If you encounter difficulties in the process of updating biometrics, customers can request all VPBank staff to support through the form " VPBank staff support implementation" on the notification display screen.

Updating biometrics on VPBank NEO is simpler than ever because all you need to prepare is:

• 12-digit CCCD with chip still valid, or ID card issued from July 1, 2024 according to the new standards of the Ministry of Public Security.
• Contact a VPBank staff member you know for support or go directly to VPBank branches/transaction offices.

According to Circular 17/2024/TT-NHNN and 18/2024/TT-NHNN regulating the opening and use of payment accounts and bank card operations, from January 1, 2025, if the owner has not authenticated biometrics with the bank, he/she will not be able to make online transactions (schedule automatic bill payment, make online payments on e-commerce sites, pay by swiping/touching, linking cards - wallets...). It is even impossible to use ATMs/CDMs to deposit/withdraw money across the entire system; money can only be deposited/withdrawn/transferred at the bank's transaction counter.

New regulations of the State Bank aim to control transactions more closely, minimizing fraudulent acts through the banking system.
