On the evening of November 29th, Tran Ngoc Luong stepped into the ring against Chinese opponent Wubukasimu Kuerban in the 61.2kg weight class at the WLF MMA 80 event, part of Wu Lin Feng, the largest martial arts tournament in China.

Wubukasimu Kuerban has won 5 of his last 7 fights since 2023. Meanwhile, Tran Ngoc Luong has won 3 fights in 2024.

In the first round, Wubukasimu Kuerban landed a blow that tore one of Tran Ngoc Luong's eyes. However, the Vietnamese fighter remained calm and continued to fight. Tran Ngoc Luong even knocked out Wubukasimu Kuerban in the first round, after just 1 minute and 35 seconds. He landed a precise left hook that sent Wubukasimu Kuerban to the floor. The referee then declared Tran Ngoc Luong the winner.

According to Tapology, this is Ngoc Luong's 7th victory in MMA. Tran Ngoc Luong was born in 1993. He has studied martial arts such as Vovinam, Sanda, and Jujitsu.

In the past, Tran Ngoc Luong primarily competed in the Lion Championship. In January of this year, Tran Ngoc Luong faced Kaito Oda at ONE Friday Fights 67 but lost. Ngoc Luong's latest victory marks a significant milestone in his MMA career.
