The program also attracted tens of thousands of spectators to My Dinh Stadium early to watch. With the largest stage investment ever with a scale of up to 2,700 m2 , recreating the North - South, in the middle is Hien Luong bridge across Ben Hai river, the audience witnessed impressive performances by artists, recreating impressive scenes such as: troops marching through Truong Son forest, tanks speeding into Independence Palace, boats cutting through the waves of Ben Hai river...
Adding to the program’s impression were two T-54 tanks used by the Vietnam People’s Army in the war against the US, and a Zin troop transport vehicle. This image appearing on stage moved many young people as it depicted the fierceness and sacrifices caused by war.
Besides, the audience also got to immerse themselves in the heroic atmosphere through the singing and dancing performances, stage skits: Songs for Uncle Ho , Night Stars , Rest in Peace, Mom , The Green Forest Echoes the Sound of Ta Lu , Meeting on the Top of Truong Son ... performed by People's Artist Thanh Hoa, People's Artist Tu Long, People's Artist Phuong Thao, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, singer To Hoa, singer Hoa Minzy... along with more than 800 artists and actors inside and outside the army.
The scene recreated on stage is the scene of soldiers stopping at a point on the legendary Truong Son road. Suddenly, a voice from afar calls for a letter from the family in the rear. However, only soldier Tho (sitting in a hammock) receives the letter.
