However, Miss Vo Le Que Anh's current achievements in the Miss Popular Vote category are receiving mixed opinions. In addition to those who continue to call for support for the Vietnamese representative before the Miss Grand International 2024 final, many netizens are suspicious of the lack of transparency, with some people secretly "buying votes" for Vo Le Que Anh so that she can win the Miss Popular Vote award. Some forums and social networks even spread images and information that "a young man admitted to spending nearly 200 million VND to buy votes for Miss Que Anh to enter the Top 1 of Miss Grand International 2024".

On the evening of October 24, in an interview with Dan Viet reporter regarding the suspicion that a young man secretly "bought votes" to secure Vo Le Que Anh the 5th runner-up position at Miss Grand International 2024, the representative of the beauty's company born in 2001 officially spoke up.

"We cannot verify the information, because all information about the votes is kept confidential by the Miss Grand International organization. However, Que Anh and the management company appreciate and are grateful for all the support and encouragement from the audience for the Vietnamese representative at the Miss Grand International 2024 contest," the representative of Miss Vo Le Que Anh shared with Dan Viet.

Currently, the "race" in the Miss Popular Vote category is even more intense as the rankings are constantly changing before the final round of Miss Grand International 2024. Recently, the Miss Popular Vote rankings of the Miss Grand International contest were once again updated by the contest's Organizing Committee at 4:00 p.m. (Thai time) on October 24, with the Myanmar representative rising to the top position with 30% of the total votes. In 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, were Miss Grand Indonesia (29%), Miss Grand Vietnam - Vo Le Que Anh (26%).
