However, Leotta's joy was short-lived. In the same match, her husband, goalkeeper Loris Karius, had to leave the field early due to injury during Schalke's 3-3 draw against Greuther Furth in the German Second Division.
The former Liverpool goalkeeper has been confirmed out for the rest of the season, meaning Leotta will likely have to rush back to her family. Fans then quickly joked that Leotta's charm was the "culprit" behind Karius's troubles.
